“This thing is ingenious.”

Army Test Pilot

ACG conducted several rounds of testing of their ACG-1S aircraft encryption system using US Army AH-64C/Ds. The system is a carry-on commercial encryption system for aircraft that does not require any aircraft modifications for use.

The compact system worked flawlessly on the Apache and provided 333 bit encryption that can be used on any radio. Qualitative and quantitative tests were performed on voice quality and reception clarity. During the test debrief, the Army test pilot noted “this thing is ingenious”, commenting on the system’s ease of installation and use.

Applied Concepts Group testing was conducted under U.S. Government Test Services Agreement with Aviation Applied Technology Directorate (AATD), U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command (RDECOM).
